Exclusive Pool Pilot Manifold The exclusive manifold is a pre-plumbed unit designed to control the flow rate delivered to the cell. This provides the cell with a controlled rate of water, allowing for better chlorination. Unions located on the cell and manifold base make inspection and cleaning simple and hassle-free. 1) Inline Strainer - The in-line strainer protects the tri-sensor and the cell from debris that may by-pass the filter and obstruct either component. The location of the strainer in the connecting union make it easy to remove for periodic cleanings. 2) Tri-Sensor - The tri-sensor is a three-way sensing device which measures flow, salt level and water temperature. This is one of the many features that sets AutoPilot systems apart from the competition. 3) Chlorine Production Cell - The cell produces 100% pure sodium hypochlorite in your pool. 4) Check Valve - The manifold check valve diverts water flowing through the plumbing at a rate greater than 20 gallons per minute to by-pass the production cell to maximize the production of chlorine and prolong the life of the cell. Temperature Compensation The tri-sensor temperature sensor increases or decreases the amount of chlorine being produced based on changes in water temperature. As water temperature drops to lower levels the controller will decrease chlorine production and eventually lockout high levels of chlorine production. This ensures that the cell isn't over-chlorinating the pool while unnecessarily using cell life. As the water temperature rises chlorine demand also increases.  Digital Pump Controller An optional relay can be installed for controlling your primary single-speed or two-speed water pump. Plumbing & Pool Equipment Freeze Protection If the digital pump controller feature has been installed and actived with a one-speed pump the pump will powered on when water drops below 40°F. The pump will run for a minimum of 30 minutes to help prevent damage to the plumbing during light freeze conditions.  Dual Boost Modes With the simple push of a button the system will run at a 100% output mode for 24 or 72 hours when extra chlorine production is needed and then revert back to the pre-boost setting. If the controller is set to control your main circulation pump the system will override the normal pump operation hours while in boost mode. FAQs Which size system do I need? The RC-32 / SC-36 is rated for pools up to 32,000 gallons. The RC-42 / SC-48 is rated for pools up to 42,000 gallons. The RC-52 / SC-60 is rated for pools up to 52,000 gallons. Tip: If you your pool is near the rating point (i.e. you are looking at the RC-42/SC-48 and your pool is 40,000 gallons) it is best to step-up to the next size system for maximum performance. This applies to every salt system on the market no matter who the manufacturer is.
