Are you getting a blinking green light on your RF Gateway Module? 

The fix for the gateway is to flush my DNS cache on my router/firewall so the product could reach out to the new servers after a software update.  The Domain Name Service (DNS) associates a name to an IP address on the internet.  Balboa's DNS for their back-end services is iothings.balboa.com and the IP address was recently changed as they are moving to new infrastructure for better availability on their end.  The old associated IP address is no longer available, so it can appear the services are down, but they are just moved.  By flushing the DNS cache on your router/firewall, it will go out to the Authoritative DNS server on the internet to retrieve the IP address, which is now the newly updated one where the services now exist.
