Attention: When replacing an old style heater you are required to replace the high limit sensor due to a change to a smaller diameter drywell (6600-168)

Plastic Smart Heater as used in Sundance Spas from 2000 to current. 3/4" barbed, high limit thermo-disc, and necessary wires for connecting to control box.

Replacement for 6500-310 

IMPORTANT NOTE: This Smart Heater has a slightly smaller dry well. When installing these heaters into spas manufactured prior to April 2007, you can no longer use the OEM Hi-Limit Sensor since it is too large to fit into the new heater's sensor well. You will need to replace both the Smart Heater and Hi-Limit Sensor (59-455-1204) as a set.
